HairConfirm, DrugConfirm, SalivaConfirm, SteroidConfirm and BabyConfirm are currently the major products owned by the company. “The biggest advantage we have is related to the short timelines of drug tests,” Zeynep continued. “We provide our customers with instant tests that are strictly regulated by the FDA and 99.9% accurate,” she explained. Zeynep and her husband, both SDSU MBA graduates, officially founded the company in 2008. Presently, Confirm Biosciences is ranked #22 among top companies in the San Diego Metro Area (Inc. 5000). The company was also named as one of the fastest growing companies in San Diego (#3) by the San Diego Business Journal in 2008.

Zeynep Ilgaz received her bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Finance from Bosporus University, Turkey, and her MBA degree from San Diego State University in 2000. In 2008, Zeynep became a recipient of the Tribute to Women in Industry award and “40 Under 40″ from San Diego Metropolitan Magazine. In 2010, she was recognized as one of San Diego’s Top Young Influentials by the San Diego Daily Transcript. Currently, Zeynep is a member of the San Diego Tech Coast Angels and an advisory board member for the Entrepreneur Society at SDSU.
